Because we wanted something that was deeper and more extra, and that felt more like a vacation, we’ve coordinated dessert + candlelight opportunities, frolicking on ancient grounds scenarios, excursions, a mind-blowing fitness moment, MUCH dress-up, as well as some leisurely moments accompanied by guacamole Y cerveza (adding a shot of mezcál is optional, but encouraged) to inspire, nourish, and entertain you while at our wedding. Note: some of these require an additional RSVP and outfit approval…haha, just kidding! (But really, if you have any questions, text, DM, carrier pigeon the bride or maid of honor Beryl Liebowitz Britton if you have any questions regarding attire.) There will be lots of outfits (see below) and we’re so excited to see you all bring it with your style – Campeche will never be the same.

*Please note that temperatures in Campeche range from 80 Degrees during the day to 75 Degrees at night (Fahrenheit), with medium to high humidity. It is a perfect micro-climate, actually, with sea breezes reaching even the jungle at dusk — very comfortable. AC in some restaurants, but mostly very comfortable for the bare shoulders! Keep this in mind for your outfits, (hence the 2 looks for Saturday!)

¡Holy Matrimony!

– Wedding Ceremony –

Today is the big day and it will come in two parts: Religious ceremony at 12PM and Party at later in the afternoon. For the Ceremony, all will gather at the Cathedral in the main Plaza, at 11:45am, for a 12pm sharp, ceremony. This isn’t a German thing, the Priest takes it all very seriously and runs a tight ship; he also insists on a 1 hr ceremony, we apologize in advance and will make it as entertaining as possible, 3 languages type thing. Cathedral Dress code: For the Ceremony, please consider wearing smart afternoon Church attire. Ladies: hats/fascinators are encouraged; Google Royal Wedding for dress inspo – think more cocktail than black tie.) Men: Don’t do Royal Wedding vibes, but more like a fresh, light colored morning suit with a bright tie is nice! Following the ceremony, please enjoy a lunch at leisure in town, after which you’ll have some time to freshen up, change into your next outfit, and get prepared for party time!

4:00pm - 6:00Am

¡Fiesta, Fiesta!

– Wedding Celebration –

Ha! The big tequila moment is finally here! Please meet us at home-base, Hotel Puerta Campeche at 4:00 for a 4:15-30pm departure. You will be transported to Hacienda Uayamón for a Magical Realism Party moment, we can’t wait for!

Party Dress Code: To start, Black Tie – but have fun with it! And come correct!! Cannes and the Oscars will have NOTHING on this fête! Come as dressed as you’ve ever wanted to come to a soirée! If you have to ask, “Is this too much?!” then the answer is likely: “it’s probably just right!” As much as the bride respects Audrey Hepburn, her answer before walking out the door has never been “let’s take something off.”

Ladies: Brownie-points for incorporating the “bird theme” into your outfit – think flowy, fanciful, and feathers! Colorful, fun, long dresses for ladies (no black, please!) As much drama and colors as you can muster – this is a fun and festive tropical moment!

Men: “Tropical Black Tie” means a white smoking jacket and a black bow-tie. Black pants. This is the typical wedding attire for a latin wedding in a tropical locale, and it has always been Andrea’s dream to have a sea of men dressed in white at her wedding. (Google “David Beckham, Tom Ford,” and your inspo will pop-up.) Renting your jacket is a great option.

Regarding Transport, please do not fret: we will have shuttles going back to town every hour starting at 12am, and then throughout the night But we have events + food planned into the wee hours of the morning (think 6am dance party in the pool!)
